Overview of web development tool 10web.io
Today I would like to review what I feel is a diamond in the rough.
A bold statement to make for — but I say this is partly due to two main reasons.
Firstly, it offers a lifetime subscription to what is essentially Elementor for unlimited sites. Though keep in mind, this is Elementor basic version, not pro. With that said, you can use your Pro version license with this.
Secondly, you can easily recreate, to some degree, any website, and start editing it as though your own through the power of AI.
Initially, like most I was hesitant to look at 10web.io, due to it currently having a low rating on Appsumo — though through a little digging, it seems that it has 2 reviews, one very positive, and another one negative, from a user of their original promotion.
I would like to thank him for his in-depth review and opinion, it was very enlightening; though to cut a long story short — initial backers got a deal which was subpar when compared to this Appsumo offer, and of course they were not happy — as would most people be. Though 10web have now announced they will refund the $100 difference to each original backer, to make amends, so I expect his review shall be changing shortly, as he said he was not content with their gesture.
They have an average of 4.8 / 5 on trust pilot, with 247 reviews over the year — with many people touting their cheap quality fast hosting, and amazing customer service.
I tested the customer service, it took 8 seconds for me to be speaking with a human. Nice.

Moving on: Elementor. So 10web.io runs on a GPL licensed version of Elementor, which means they paid for the right to use, resell and modify the Elementor code. So each update Elementor makes, they then push across onto their system for their users. As it is a GPL license, Elementor is not obligated to provide you with any support, but instead, 10web.io is, and does.
Their reviews mention lightning fast response, and sings praise to their support team.
As this is essentially a re-skinned version of Elementor, with some extra tricks, all your previous plugins and addons will work with it seamlessly. Meaning no loss in previous investments. If you’re like me, and have invested heavily in the Elementor ecosystem, this is a massive plus, as also means no relearning new tools required.
I mentioned extra tricks — 10web has their own optimisation tools (though you can still use your own if you wish) — which claim to give your site the google web speed of 90+.
They do this by duplicating the site to a temporary subdomain, while it works its magic, meaning your site will get no downtime — once complete and working, it moves it back to live.
I tested this on a couple of sites, to try to put it through its paces, and it works extremely well.
First sites, it managed to give me a score of 90, and the second site, doubled the performance from 30 to 77, and halved the load time. Colour me impressed.
Of course, further optimisation could be used to improve these initial results.
They provide image optimization for up to 100,000 images a months, backup of websites and security functions.
Web manage multiple sites
Additionally, all your sites, especially if you are managing many websites, can be updated and monitored through their portal — making this a web managers dream — removing the needs to fork out for an additional web management program each month. Unfortunately though, it does not have any analytics — so a third party program would be required for that.
Cloning/recreating a site
Now for the main party trick.
10web can attempt to recreate most types of websites — saving you hours of manual work and money in the long run.
I have had many clients who come to me for web design, with a site they have seen, and saying they want one just like that.
Now in this situation, there are 2 options — look for the same template, and use that — though I am usually against templates, as often is the case they stopped being supported a year or 2 down the road.
Or, I can spend hours, recreating the site from scratch — getting the right colours, effects, fonts, image types, background, etc.
With web development tool 10web, it takes 3 minutes to recreate a website page, and it is a very close approximation of the site.
I tested it with a few websites, some of my own, and some of other companies. I found it works best with basic sites (i.e. none shop or news) — or funnels. It was a dream for funnels.
Now this is not without its drawbacks, by all means.
Firstly, it doesn’t create a site map, it in essence just remakes the page — so if there is a post thumbnail, it will be faked — and there is the same with links — they are simply placeholder text — but this allows you to then jump in, start building the site from there — colours, fonts, positioning all sorted. This can seriously cut your development time in half.
Elementor Page Templates
I have seen some reviews complaining that it does only a maximum of 5 pages — but I feel they are missing the point. It doesn’t need to recreate the whole site — just the main elements for you to use as templates within Elementor — these would be, Home Page, Post Template, Page template (i.e. About us), Services/Products page and Archive — if you have those, you have a website.
10web offers very reasonable hosting prices, from $59 a year for a site, with ssl included — though this is best suited for smaller organizations, as it seems they have a cap of 25k monthly visitors — with that said you are free to use any host you like — you simply connect your website to 10web through a wordpress plugin — and you are good to go.
Looking through their current roadmap, it seems they have been very busy the last few years, which is a great sign — and I was delighted to see that they will be soon implementing shop recreation functions, which means you will hit the ground running when you do duplication of an online store.
I was saddened to see they do not support lottie animations, though these can be added manually when you dive in to edit, as all your previous plugins work as normal.
A definite buy from me. I full stacked and not looking back.
The ability to work with my existing Elementor ecosystem which I am heavily invested in, and provide me the power to jump start any project with their AI, and optimisation had me loving this product. Quite possibly the best purchase of this year.
